This week we read "A letter from Burmingham". MLK's point of view on slavery was very emotional. He talked about how we as US citizens must overcome slavery and treat each other with equality. This letter also relats to Fredrick Douglass's journal.

What I've been reading (Aaron Blackwell)

I have read "My Bondage and My Freedom" in my English class. This story about Fredrick Douglass's point of view of slavery was very storng. It showed his feelings toward his mistress and his feelings about slavery when he gained knowledge about the world around him.
